Photoshop Tips Through Photoshop Tutorials
Taking a short course in Adobe Photoshop, studying photoshop tips and watching photoshop tutorials was one of the best business and creative decisions of my life.

The Photoshop tips and techniques demonstrated here are ones that I use day in and day out. Some I've used for over 8 years since we began designing table top photos, magnets, suncatchers and more to sell to Cape Cod gift shops.
Then 6 plus years ago I discovered additional Photoshop techniques as I began creating ads for a national publication. My favorite ad is the Mercedes ad below to the right.
Since 2004 we have primarily used Photoshop for enhancing our studio and wedding photography. Increasingly I'm creating collages and designing Story Books for our clients by creating each page with a collage of the bride's and groom's favorite photos.

Photoshop Techniques Can Save The Day!
Weddings are a wonderful opportunity for creative and financial rewards. They can also be prime candidates for imperfection and ommissions.
Somehow in this wedding a solo portrait of the groom was ommitted.
Here's how I created an elegant portrait of the groom by using Photoshop tips!

Tutorial #2: Creative Frames
The sun streams into your lens and your picture is way too light. Or your flash doesn't carry and detail is hidden in the shadows.
Fixing these common problems is often very easy. Just follow the link.
Tutorial #3: Easy Under & Over Exposure Corrections
Get creative by using Posterize and Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layers.
Tutorial #4: Posterize For Image Strength. Change Hue For Effect.
These options just touch the surface of the many graphic techniques available to ensure that our hard work with the camera results in truly artistic photography.
Of course learning the best ways to take photographs can greatly reduce your graphics work level!
Take advantage of photography tips the pros use to shoot the best photos you can
as well as purchasing and using the
best camera and lens you can afford.
Photoshop Tips From Photoshop Courses - A Good Investment!
Through the years I've attended courses through NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals), FPP (Florida Professional Photographers Association), TAPPA (Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association) and others. But I've also sometimes discovered huge time and aggravation savers just by working with Photoshop on a daily basis.
NAPP is probably the best source of photoshop tutorials available.

Learning is a life long process. No one truly arrives at the point where they no longer need inspiration and challenge.
It is a great honor to be able to give back even in a small way. I encourage you to do the same - to use the knowledge you have gained along life's path, and find another person who needs your help.
Our development of Photoshop Tutorials is our way of giving back what we have gleaned through seminars, photo magazines and experience.
As we embark upon this exploration of the ways and means to create photography art, we welcome your photoshop questions, comments, suggestions and tips. We will do all we can to make you feel welcome and artistically fulfilled at Joyful Expressions Photography.

One of God's most beautiful creations is the humble flower.
Enhancing a lovely photo so that the viewer can glimpse what the photographer saw is in our experience a joyful process.
For us the essense of photography art is first taking the best photograph of the subject that we can.
Second is using Photoshop techniques to intensify the color, soften the focus, darken the background, etc. to emphasize the beauty of the image to the fullest.
Our desire is that our art accurately relects Gods art which we've described more fully in our Inspirational Photos pages.
