How To Create A Photo Painting
Using A Photoshop Filter

This Photoshop tutorial shows you how to turn this photo of an old truck into an awesome Photo Painting!

STEP 1
A. Click on Filters at the top of your Photoshop Palette.

B. On the drop down menu, Highlight Artistic, then slide your curser to the bottom of the pop out list.

C. Click on Watercolor.

D. Play with the Adjustment Sliders until you get the effect you want. I applied Brush Detail 6, Shadow Intensity 1 and Texture 3 for this Photoshop Painting.

See how easily we''ve created a Photo Painting! To create a Colored Pencil effect using another of the Artistic Photoshop Filters, CLICK HERE.

We invite you to return for a follow-up graphic tutorial on how to very simply add a creative mat to your Photoshop painting using the Blending Options on the Layers Palette.

See you soon,
