The Bride Called This Wedding Coffee Table Book "Amazing"!

This wedding coffee table book page was designed using a photoshop collage of 2 photos.

Wedding Graphics For Photoshop Collage Of First Dance

1. In the Layers Palette:First the bride and groom photo was duplicated creating 2 layers - the original layer and a copy layer;

2. The copy layer in the Layers Palette is just for security in case I don't like the changes made to the orginal. The copy layer was moved underneath the original layer, and by clicking on the eye icon to the right of the copy, it becomes invisible;

3. The photo of the candle is added to the bride and groom photo by picking it up with the mouse (Left Click & hold til the candle sticks on the B&G photo) and sliding it onto the photo of the B&G, then placed below the couple in the Layers palette;

4. By reducing the opacity (and fill) of the bride and groom layer (at the top of the layers palette) I can see the candle underneath and place it where I want it (resizing if necessary);

5. After lining up the 2 photos to my satisfaction, I Clicked on the Eraser (from the tools palette) and reduced the eraser opacity to 20% +/-, and carefully erased the bride's arm and groom's jacket over the candle, so that the candle is vaguely visible. Then increase the opacity on the B&G to 100%.-;

6. Finally, I carefully erased the original background of the bride and groom layer to reveal the blurred background on the candle layer;

7. Add an optional text layer if desired.

Now that you have an idea of how I create the Photoshop collages that are the backbone of the Wedding Coffee Table Book, let's continue with the rest of the story....

This wedding really began with an engagement portrait session, continued with the rehearsal, and included the bride's preparations at her home.
