Pictures Of Flowers As Photography Art

Cactus Flower Photography Art - COPYRIGHT

Tom loves to take pictures of flowers. And I (Beth) love to become graphically creative with them!

A Formal Rose Collage

Photoshop techniques applied to pictures of flowers can result in photography art.

This formal rose collage could be the perfect accent for a formal dining room or ladies boudoir.

Kensington Gardens Flowering Tree Detail - COPYRIGHT English Gardens are a wonderful source for fine art flower photography. Cropping in close reveals details not usually noticed during a stroll through a large garden such as this London garden. Graphic enhancements can almost magically transform flower photos into photography art.

On the left this soft and lovely floral close-up from Kensington Gardens reminds us of our wonderful day in the gardens. It will add a perfect touch to the wall of a welcoming guest room.

Kensington Gardens Golden Blossoms - COPYRIGHT
The magnificent London gardens offer opportunity to take pictures of flowers around every bend in the paths. On the right golden blossoms caught our eyes.

Following this link will bring you to pictures of England (including flower photos) from our recent trip.

Stunning shot of one of our cacti in full bloom - COPYRIGHT

Much of our fine art flower photography is literally taken right in our own backyard or by the pool in our screened lanai. Several times a year we are regaled day after day by brilliant new red blossoms and blooms on this cactus.

Passion Flower - COPYRIGHT

Our purple passion flowers are as passionate about expanding their territory as we are about our photography. In a few months they had covered 2 sides of our fence and then completely covered the ground the fences enclosed! Before we realized it they had strangled our climbing rose and almost done the same to the Mandella vine.

Beautiful, but vicious is the Passion Vine.

Red Hibiscus Detail - COPYRIGHT Our hibiscus trees got hit by the cold last winter, but resurrected brilliantly this spring.

I created the black and white version for the back of our business cards. In considering fine art photography, we would love to know if you prefer the red or the black and white hibiscus.

I love roses.

Tom doesn't have to buy me flowers. I especially love a rose when he picks one (or maybe two) from our garden and suddenly surprises me with it in a bud vase.

Even among our pictures of flowers, roses are one of my favorites.

Thank you for stopping by. We hope we've encouraged your vision of photography art by sharing ours.

Joyfully,
