Photography Art - Photo Fantasy

Photography art has as many forms as there are photography artists. Here we are concentrating on photographs that have been graphically enhanced to produce images partly or totally different from reality. We call this art form photo fantasy.

Flowers are particularly adaptable. Photoshop filters and adjustments applied to an image can redesign it into a new fantasy photo creation.

Produced as they come from the camera or graphically enhanced as an illusion, flowers are often stunning photography art, and one of the most enduringly lovely and frequently photographed of God's creations.

Mystic Picnic (above) is a creative adaptation of the original photo taken at a park on Florida's Palm Coast just south of St. Augustine. Here I used a Bas Relief Photoshop filter and reduced the "fill" level to 75% to reveal some of the purple tint from the Neon Glow filter I used on the next layer down.

Can't you just feel the JOY of this dance team from the Messianic production, "Rebuilding Soloman's Temple".

Although I've called this "Castle Tapestry", the "castle" behind the flower garden is probably the garden tool shed! The real castle is Hampton Court, a huge complex behind the photographer.

The Photoshop Glass filter helped me create a window in front of the little boy and the man blowing the shofar (Ram's horn) so that we (the viewers) can peek inside.

Until the next time, we invite to return as we continually add pages, pictures and content. Your comments and questions are valuable to all of us who aspire to create artistic photography!
