PHOTOGRAPHER RESUME: Meet the Photographers
JOYFUL EXPRESSIONS PHOTOGRAPHY was birthed eight years ago on Cape Cod as a result of our mutual love for artistic photography;
but Tom's photographer resume began years earlier.
Tom Goehringer has over 20 years experience as a wedding photographer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Florida, and he has been taking photos for personal enjoyment since high school.
Tom's technical knowledge goes back to his youth when he dismantled and reconstructed various cameras, and continued through years spent developing film for a Camden, New Jersey lab. Today he spends many hours researching photography equipment and techniques in addition to perfecting his knowledge of our equipment.

Before moving from Cape Cod we photographed the beauty of the area and sold the results to the many tourist shops on the Cape as prints, greeting cards, suncatchers, magnets and more. We opened Joyful Expressions Photography Studio after moving to Hudson, Florida in 2003. In 2007 we relocated 10 minutes south to Port Richey to a glorious view on a lake. It's such a peaceful spot that we think of it as "Still Waters", and have taken many portraits on our dock and in our yard. We specialize in all types of family photography:
Babies, Children, Senior and Graduation, Families and Pets as well as Weddings both in our indoor studio and outdoors by our lake as well as at numerous parks, beaches and homes.
Family Reunion gatherings are a large part of our photography business, especially just before and after holidays.

Tom is our primary photographer adjusting lighting and camera angles while Beth sets up backgrounds and adds props.
'Portrait of a Lady' demonstrates Beth's graphic magic. After the 'shoot' is completed, Beth selects the best shots. Clients sometimes assist in that process before they leave the studio. She then crops, color corrects and adds special graphic effects to enhance and bring the best out of every photograph. Here's a sampler of our backdrops. (Beth's the model).
Beth Goehringer has a background in advertising sales, photography and graphic design.
She is also a journalist who has written numerous biographical sketches for VITALITY and MD NEWS on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and ENTERTAINMENT NEWS and HARTFORD TODAY in Hartford, Connecticut. She continues to write poetry and is a novelist with a mystery novel pending.
