PAMPERED PET PICTURES
The first of our Pampered Pet Pictures is Snickers, Ashlee's Christmas Kitty! How sweet is that?
Snickers was a foundling, a feral cat, from a litter under the dock at Hudson Beach, Florida.
He was a mess - dirty, wormy, and very upset at being separated from his siblings and mom, but he soon adjusted and cried instead for Ashlee when she was at work.
We cropped this photo to focus attention on the faces of Ashlee and Snickers. (There is a link to Cropping help in the Pet Family selection below.)
CUTE PETS

Well, do you think Tyson and Sweet Pea get first prize as cute pets? Or maybe as a funny pet picture? And, who said dogs don't share?
Tyson is really good with babies, whether they have 2 feet or 4! Sweet Pea made a terrible pest of herself, and we finally gave Tyson permission to tell her to stop. He growled at her, but never hurt her!
Do you have a cute, funny or pampered pet photo? How about sharing it with all of us pet lovers?
Well, here's a pet portrait of Tyson. Did you guess that he's our baby? Tyson first belonged to my daughter, but we babysat him when he was a year old, and fell in love with him. He ran in front of a car in his first month with us. We babied him terribly as he healed, and he fell in love with us. Now he goes everywhere we go!
Photo To Painting - Beauty and the Beast
These two pet pictures have each been at least partially created through Photoshop tricks.
Sparkles (on the left) had a lot of colorful 'noise' under her nose. I reduced that with the Noise Photoshop filter. Next I increased the contrast to darken her dark fur. Although the difference is not enough to see on-line, it definitely improves the hard 'print' copy.
The kitty on the counter (below) received massive (but easy) doses of Photoshop magic. 1. First I separated the photo into two layers by outlining the cat with the Magnetic Lasso Tool. 2. Then I created a new Layer by either cutting or copying in the 'New' menu of Layers. 3. I blurred the background in Filter with Lens Blur. 4. Then I used 2 more filters on the cat: Smart Sharpen, and Dry Brush.

FAMILY PORTRAIT - CROPPED
Bill & Alice own the Cedar Key Bed & Breakfast which, by the way, is pet friendly.
That's Sweet Pea all grown up with her 'brother' Freckles. Tyson doesn't tell her what to do anymore. She's the boss. We call Sweet Pea and Tyson 'cousins'.
Cropping focuses the viewers attention.

Horses on a Cape Cod Beach

Pet pictures would be incomplete without horses. CLICK HERE to explore Cape Cod Beaches. I greatly miss walking those beaches year round!
We loved watching these young girls on their pet horses galloping through the sand at Paines Creek Beach on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

BEAUTY AND BB
We think Finlay deserves the most beautiful pet reward. What do you think? Do you have a prettier pet? We would like to see a picture of it!
BB, the once feral kitty above, adopted Bill and Alice of the
Cedar Key Bed and Breakfast
, so they named him BB!
Here's where you can share photos of your favorite pets with all of us animal lovers! Maybe you have a funny or cute story to accompany your photos.
With or without a story, we would love to see your pet family! You can add up to 4 photos, and we will post them on line.
